The family crypt is in the graveyard of St Andrew and St Patrick’s Church, Elveden, near the vast stately home Elveden Hall, which has remained empty in recent years. ‘It was her children’s wish - in particular her eldest son Arthur, who inherited the title - that their parents, though separated in life, should be reunited,’ says a family friend.
